Aquarian Drumheads

Most of our kits and Snare drums are supplied with new Aquarian heads. We are happy to let you our customers select the right type of head for your personal requirements or if you prefer we are happy to recommend the correct type of Aquarian head for your drums. Aquarian Heads also sound fantastic on Modern kits, so why not give us a bell so we can talk over your particular requirements.

Performance II Series >> Two ply head designed for "loose" tuning to get the depth and punch with no "over-ring", manufactured with Aquarian’s Vacuum Process™ which eliminates air bubbles and wrinkles between the two plies.

Super-Kick Series >> Single and two ply heads featuring Aquarian’s patented "Floating Muffling System". A narrow felt muffle ring is attached to the backside of the drumhead to produce a low-end, well-defined punchy sound.

Vintage Series >> The look, feel and warmth of the old Calfskin heads, single ply, at thin or medium weight. Modern Vintage are standard sizes while American Vintage Heads have a slightly larger diameter hoop for easier fit on classic drums.

Unique features:

•	SAFE-T-LOC HOOP (PATENTED) Prevents slippage inside the hoop.The head does not de-tune during a performance and will not pull out > tuning is consistent and the head stays in tune.
•	SOUND CURVE COLLAR DESIGN Allows the drumhead to seat perfectly on the bearing edge. Conforms instantly to any shell design > tuning is fast, easy and more accurate.
•	EXTRA-WARM DRUMHEAD FILM Produces a rich, warm and full mid range sound on toms and more low end on bass drums. Eliminates the "ping" and "plastic" sound common to other drumheads.
•	SATIN FINISH TEXTURE COATING Coating does not chip off. It outlasts all others. Extremely thin, it provides a more responsive surface for brushes and sticks.
